To us, well-being is holistic. And holistic well-being means our skin care serves the whole you, as well as the larger whole.
As conscious caretakers, we take everything into consideration. From the very inception of a new product, to our formulation process, to selecting and harvesting our ingredients, to packaging and it's life cycle after product use, to the results you experience, to the environmental impact on our earth, we evaluate every step along the way.
These are choices we make every day, and we do that consciously by looking to Nature as the ultimate guide. We pay attention to its cycles with great care, learn its language, research + refine until we've created something in harmony with natural law, and in harmony with your skin.
LOW IMPACT PHILOSOPHY.
We want to leave as light a footprint as possible on this beautiful and ever generous planet. The Naturallogic studio lab runs on wind turbine power. Our carbon footprint is minimal, due to the nature in which we make our products. All are crafted by hand, from start to finish, using very little machinery, and packaged in recycled or recyclable materials. We re-use all boxes and packing materials that come to us from outside sources, and we don't include any unnecessary paraphernalia or literature with our orders, to cut down on overuse or abuse of natural resources. These are just a few ways in which we take conscious action to keep our impact on the environment low, and we're always striving to improve our current practices, while seeking new ways of conscious well-being without cutting corners.

MINIMAL RITUAL.
Our responsible practices begin with responsible formulations. If we can combine several products in one, instead of producing more and more single benefit products, we will. And we do. When creating a product, we not only keep your current skin goals in mind, we construct multifaceted systems that serve many functions for your skin, laying a foundation for healthy turnover, balance, resilience, and strength. By combining ingredients that provide numerous essential building blocks to keep skin in optimal function and in command of it's most vibrant, adaptable state. Our multifunctional formulas cover many bases in one product, allowing you to use fewer, finely tuned, potent products while gaining the greatest benefits. That means more beautiful skin for you, and less packaging going to our recycling centers and landfills.
ETHICALLY SOURCED BIOTANICALS.
When selecting ingredients for our skin + body care, we have 5 rules we live by: efficacy, purity/safety, nutrient density, consistency, and respect. It must provide real benefits for skin. It must be free from known toxins. It must be fresh and potent, with a multi-benefit nutrient profile. It must be abundant and available with no foreseeable detriment to the plant's existence. It must be harvested conservatively, with respect for the plant and all other wildlife who rely on it for sustenance, and with dignity for all who contribute to it's growth and harvest. If any one of these criteria cannot be met in the search, harvesting or implementation of any ingredient of interest, we don't use it. No matter how popular or on trend it may be. It's that simple. Many of our botanicals are native, wildharvested locally by us. And we work with growers and suppliers who share our values and high standards.
BEYOND SUSTAINABILITY.

It's about balance, foresight and intention. We prefer results-centered, sustainable ingredients rather than playing into the latest skin care trends, or overusing or abusing exotic or endangered plant species. And we do not use sustainability as an excuse to replace botanicals with synthetics. While we do include certain lab-synthesized ingredients in our formulas, we use them consciously in supplement to our potent botanical base. If the sustainability of any of our botanicals comes into question, we find a way to stay truly organic by seeking alternative sources, or alternative botanicals, in order to help preserve precious resources. And we continue to discover and implement better and better ways to give back more than we consume.
ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS PACKAGING.
Reducing, reusing and recycling are an integral part of our core value system and holistic, low-impact philosophy. In our daily practices here at the studio-lab, and in our intention for our products and packaging once they leave our hands. All of our packaging is recyclable and made from glass, aluminum, and post-consumer recycled materials.
WIND POWER.
The Naturallogic studio-lab proudly runs on wind-turbine energy. ♒
When choosing a renewable energy source to power our day to day operations, we looked to wind and solar to have the least environmental impact. We chose wind turbines because they release less CO2 into the atmosphere, consume less energy, and produce more energy overall, than solar. One wind turbine can generate the same amount of electricity per kWh as about 48,704 solar panels.
