While out getting a much needed haircut the other day, I came across this recipe for a foot mask. Not surprisingly, I've used a similar concoction to perk up my facial skin, so I gave it a shot.
It. Is. Divine.
Not only did it leave my feets super soft, but it also sloughed away dead skin and cleaned my toenails up a bit (I just moved... and did it entirely in flip flops. I don't recommend that.) So, I thought I should pass it on. It's both a mask and a scrub. Feel free to use it as either or both.
You will need:
1/2 cup plain Yogurt
Smooths dryness and neutralizes fungus and bacteria
(we don't judge)
1/2 cup Cornmeal
Gently exfoliates and feels sooooo good... like a light massage
1/4 cup Grapefruit Juice
Deep cleanses and refreshes
Combine ingredients and stash in the fridge until it thickens into a thick consistency (about 15 minutes). Now slather it on. Apply from your ankles to the tips of your toes, sit back, rest your feet on a bath towel and relax (10 minutes... or more!). Then gently massage your toes, feet & ankles and rinse well.
